Voice of the Listener & Viewer (VLV) will hold a series of events where members of the public in London can join representatives of the industry, government and academe to hear and question key players about the new Communication Bill.

Commenting, VLV chair, Jocelyn Hay said: "The Communication Bill will affect every aspect of British broadcasting with immense implication for the future of British cultural and democracy.  I am shocked how little the general public knows about the impact the Bill could have on their viewing and listening.

VLV will provide a rare opportunity for ordinary viewers and listeners to hear and question at first hand some of the keys players involved.  I am delighted the Secretary of State has agreed in addressing a special VLV Westminster Evening Seminar on the Bill in the Palace of Westminster on 21 January as the Bill starts it progress through Committee.
