Patten keynote speaker at conference

Lord Patten of Barnes CH, Chairman of the BBC Trust, talked about the way ahead for the BBC with Raymond Snoddy in the chair at VLV's Autumn Conference on Monday 26 November 2012 in London. speech

Roger Darlington, Consumer representative, Oversight Board of Digital Mobile Spectrum, spoke on the impact of the introduction of 4G mobile on television viewers.

There was also a panel discussion on The Media Landscape after Leveson with Stewart Purvis, Professor of Television Journalism, City University; Brian Cathcart, professor of Journalism, Kingston University and founder, Hacked off! and Bob Satchwell, Executive Director, Society of Editors with Robin Lustig in the chair.

Tim Suter, Perspective Associates, Professor Steven Barnett and Helen Keefe, from BBC Policy looked at  the debate around the Communications Bill.
