Viewers and listeners will be able hear and question senior broadcasters and policy makers at the Voice of the Listener & Viewer's (VLV) 31st Annual Autumn Conference
VLV Chair Colin Browne said " As we enter a period of big decisions on the future of Public Service Broadcasting, we will hear from key players at the BBC and Channel 4; while a panel including a previous Chairman of hte BBC, a former Chief Executive of BBC Broadcast, a serving Trustee and a leading academic will discuss the issues in the intray of Rona Fairhead, the new BBC Trust Chairman.
Channel 4's Dan Brooke, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, will look at the challenges facing Public Service Broadcasters in the opening session of the conference and then will be joined by James Heath, BBC Director of Policy.
BBC Trustee Richard Ayre will join the panel of Sir Christopher Bland, Will Wyatt CBE and Professor Stephen Barnett for the final session of the day - Rona Fairhead's intray - to discuss their agenda for the new BBC Trust Chairman.
Other sessions of the conference are Gwyneth Williams, Controller BBC Radio 4 and 4 Extra with Torin Douglas MBE looking at the prospects for radio with Robin Lustig.
Phil Laven, Chairman of the DVB Project and former Technical Director of the European Broadcasting Union will look at changing technologies and the implications for viewers and listeners with Jon Drori CBE, an expert in technology and audience behaviour, chaired by Professor Steven Barnett.
