Michael Grade outlines his vision for the BBC

Michael Grade, Chairman of the BBC's Governors, has made clear that the BBC's future depends on producing the programmes and content that licence payers want. Speaking at VLV's 2005 Spring Conference, on Monday 25 April, he also emphasised that the BBC needs to demonstrate clearly that is operating efficiently and delivering value for money. Also speaking at the Conference were Roly Keating, Controller BBC-2 and Mark Damazer Controller BBC Radio 4 and Radio 7.
