Voice of the Listener & Viewer arranges a range of visits to radio, television and other broadcasting centres and also holds a number of special events.
Recent visits have included BBC East and Radio Norfolk, Norwich and BBC New Media, London, CBBC and the Met Office, Exeter.
Special Events have included evening lectures with Sir David Attenborough, Sir Charles Wheeler, Michael Parkinson, John SImpson, Tim Marlow and Michael Palin.

Recent Visits:
Visit to BBC Research & Development, Kingswood Warren, Tadworth Surrey on Thursday, 15th October 2009 10am - 12.30pm - visitors saw the latest, up to the minute, work being carried out at Kingswood Warren which included items such as Virtual Studios, 3D-TV, Project Canvas (Television with Broadband), HDTV on DVB-T2, Digital Archives and Digital Radio.
Visit to ITN Newsroom, London WC1 on Thursday, 22nd October 2009 12 noon - toured the newsrooms, saw rehearsals and the lunchtime news programme go out on air.
Visit to BBC Natural History Unit, Whiteladies, Bristol on Tuesday, 27th October 2009 2pm - an opportunity to meet and talk to the Editor and Producers of award winning natural history programmes.

Tuesday 31st March 2009 visit to Ofcom, London SE1 10am - 12noon - included a demonstration of new audio/visual technology and services inlcuding digital, WebTV and 3DTV, plus information about Ofcom's role and research into changing patterns of behaviour and media consumption.
Tuesday 21st April 2009 visit to BBC Editorial Complaints Unit, London W12 2pm - 3.30pm - found out what happens when listeners and viewers complain about BBC programmes.
