VoLT - The Voice of the Listener Trust

The Voice of the Listener Trust, (VoLT), VLV's sister body, is a registered charity (No 296207). Founded in 1987, its aims are to educate the public about broadcasting in all its forms and its role in society. The Trust supports VLV's Annual Awards for Excellence in Broadcasting, sponsors research and supports VLV's charitable work which falls within its own objects, including the VLV student essay competition. In the past, VoLT has sponsored projects for young people with BBC Radio 1, BBC Local Radio and BBC Schools Radio.
