is a regulator and broadcasting authority related to S4C television, the Welsh language channel.

The Advertising Standards Authority The ASA was set up in 1962 to make sure that non-broadcast advertisements appearing in the UK are legal, decent, honest and truthful.
The Authority protects the public by ensuring that the rules in the British Codes of Advertising and Sales Promotion are followed by everyone who prepares and publishes advertisements.

British Board of Film The BBFC is an independent body that has classified cinema films since its inception in 1912, and video releases since the Video Recordings Act in 1984.
The body aims to bring a degree of uniformity to film classification across the nation. Statutory powers remain with local councils who may override any BBFC classification or editing recommendations.

Save Kid's TV is a coalition of parents, producers, artists, educators and others concerned about screen-based media for children in the UK. We aim to press broadcasting regulators and the Government to acknowledge the value of children's television, and protect it in the face of growing financial pressures.

The European Institute for the Media (EIM) is a think tank for research and strategy concerning developments in European media and communications, based in Dortmund.
BEUC, the European Consumers' Organisation, is the Brussels based federation of 40 independent national consumer organisations from the EU, accession and EEA countries. Its job is to try to influence, in the consumer interest, the development of EU policy and to promote and defend the interests of all European consumers.
Digital TV Consumer test reports, gives unibiased, free advice on digital TV products based on indepedent testing. This new website, which has been set up with funding from DTI, is designed to help consumers choose the equipment needed to switch to digital television.
The DTG is an independent industry association for digital TV in the UK. It is neutral as regards to platform and technology.
Digital UK is an independent, non-profit organisation leading the process of digital switchover in the UK, providing important information on the process and what the consumer needs to do when it occurs.
