VLV is looking for the right person to fill a new part time appointment:

Education / Development Officer – mainly based in Gravesend

The task:  to promote and develop VLV’s educational activities; to increase public awareness of the issues surrounding the future of public service broadcasting in the run-up to the renewal of the BBC’s Royal Charter in 2006; and to encourage, organise and promote related activities and events.

The job requires:  Education qualifications of degree or equivalent standard; good communication and IT skills; excellent spoken and written English; experience of media related work, press relations, marketing and fund raising; ability to work on own initiative and as part of a small team. 

Hours: negotiable – up to three days a week.
Salary: negotiable. Circa £125 per day
